Function

Summit X450e-24p is 1U stackable Layer3 Gigabit PoE access switch for enterprise campus. 24 PoE ports supply data and power for wireless APs, IP phones and IP cameras. Four combo ports offer flexible uplink selection over copper or fiber. Rear expansion slot accepts XGM2 dual 10G card for high-speed uplink to aggregation/core layer. SummitStack technology merges multiple switches under one management domain. Supports IPv4/IPv6 static routing, 802.1X authentication, VLAN segmentation and hardware QoS to prioritize voice and video traffic. External EPS-500 redundant power interface improves system uptime. Widely deployed for office, school and hospital gigabit PoE access layer spare replacement.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch to standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord. Install EPS-500 external redundant PSU if full PoE capacity required. Insert SFP transceiver for fiber uplink or install XGM2 10G card for high-speed uplink. Deploy SummitStack cable for multi-unit stacking.
