FunctionX450a-24X is a stackable Layer3 gigabit fiber switch without PoE. It provides high-density SFP fiber ports for long-distance building access, plus four combo ports for flexible copper or fiber connection. It supports static & dynamic routing,VLAN segmentation,STP/RSTP/MSTP,LACP link aggregation,ACL,QoS and multicast control. It monitors SFP DDM optical diagnostics,port link status,system temperature and power health, and sends hardware fault alarms. Used for enterprise campus fiber edge access networks.

InstallationMount the switch on standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power. Install SFP transceivers and fiber cables. Install XGM2 10G uplink card if required. Connect console port for ExtremeXOS configuration. Verify boot,port optical link and stacking function before commissioning.
