SSA-AC-PS-1000 belongs to Extreme SSA S-series power family. Compatible with SSA S130, SSA S150 and S1 chassis switches. Multiple PSU modules can be installed for redundant load-sharing power configuration. Used to supply power for mainboard, line cards and PoE load of S-series chassis.

Function

SSA-AC-PS-1000 is 1000W AC hot-swappable power supply for Extreme SSA S-series chassis switch. It provides stable DC power output for chassis control board, I/O line cards and PoE ports. Hot-swap design allows module replacement without powering down the whole chassis, minimizing service interruption. Built-in multiple protection circuits prevent hardware damage caused by short circuit, overheat and overvoltage. Multiple PSUs can work in load-sharing redundant mode to eliminate single power point of failure. Widely used for enterprise campus core and data center S-series chassis power backup and hardware replacement.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Insert power supply module into empty PSU bay of SSA chassis and lock the latch. Connect AC mains power cord to module inlet. Verify power good LED light up, check chassis power status via switch CLI. Test redundant power failover after installation.
