Function

G48TC-41517 is hot-swappable gigabit copper line card for BD8800 chassis. It provides 48 gigabit RJ45 access ports to expand wired access capacity for the core chassis. It supports static & dynamic routing, VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP link aggregation, ACL, QoS and multicast protocols. The module monitors port link status, onboard temperature and backplane communication state, and reports fault alarms to chassis management engine. Used for enterprise core chassis gigabit access port expansion.

Installation

Wear ESD anti-static wrist strap. Unpack the line card, remove blank filler panel from target BD8800 slot. Insert module smoothly into slot and tighten captive screws. The chassis will automatically detect and initialize the line card. Connect RJ45 network cables. Verify module recognition and port status via chassis CLI before commissioning.
