It provides 48 10G downlink ports for server or access switch connection, six QSFP28 uplink ports for 40G/100G fabric interconnection. Large deep packet buffer handles burst traffic to reduce packet loss. Supports EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS and full suite of routing protocols for modern data center fabric and WAN edge. Redundant power and fans ensure high availability for 24/7 operation. Widely used for colocation, internet exchange, data center leaf/spine and service provider border routing.

InstallationMount the unit into standard 19-inch equipment rack. Install redundant power supplies and connect power cables. Insert SFP+ / QSFP28 transceivers and fiber/DAC cables. Access console port for initial SLX-OS configuration, configure VLAN, routing, EVPN and QoS policy. Verify port status and routing session via CLI.
