FunctionA4H124-48P is a stackable multi-layer fast ethernet PoE managed switch. It supplies 802.3af power to PoE endpoints. It supports static routing, VLAN segmentation, STP/RSTP, LACP link aggregation, QoS, IGMP snooping, port mirroring, 802.1X and SNMP monitoring. The dual gigabit shared ports can be assigned for uplink or stacking. It monitors port link status, PoE power consumption, module temperature and power supply health, and sends hardware fault alarms. Used for wiring closet PoE access in medium and large enterprise campuses.

InstallationMount the switch on standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord; external RPS redundant power supply is optional. Install SFP transceivers and fiber cables if fiber uplink is required. Connect Cat5 cables to 10/100 PoE RJ45 ports. Connect DB9 serial console port for EOS configuration. Verify boot sequence, port link and PoE function before putting into production.
