Used to build stacked resilient fast ethernet access networks.

InstallationMount the switch on 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord; external RPS can be installed optionally. Insert SFP transceivers and fiber cables for gigabit uplink. Connect Cat5e cables to PoE RJ45 access ports. Connect DB9 serial console port for EOS configuration. Verify boot sequence, port link and PoE status before putting into production.
