Function

Act as peripheral expansion carrier for XYCOM XVME PC/AT VME CPU series.

Provides dual PC/104 expansion slots to install various daughter submodules.

Extend serial ports,parallel ports,SCSI storage,Ethernet or memory function according to installed submodule.

Realize signal transmission between VME backplane and PC/AT local bus.

Onboard power regulation circuit supplies stable power to PC104 daughter boards.

Installation

Power off VME chassis.

Insert XVME-956 card into empty 6U single-height VME slot,tighten front panel fixing screw.

Mount selected PC104 daughter modules onto the two expansion sites of XVME-956.

Set base address and interrupt via board jumpers.

Connect peripheral wiring on front panel.

Power on chassis,run hardware self-test with paired XVME PC/AT CPU board.
