Function

Act as peripheral expansion carrier for XYCOM XVME PC/AT VME CPU series.

Provides PC/AT local bus interface for pluggable daughter I/O modules.

Extend serial ports,parallel ports,storage interface or digital I/O according to daughter card type.

Transmit signals between VME backplane and PC/AT local bus.

Realize system peripheral expansion without occupying extra VME slots.

Installation

Power off VME chassis.

Insert XVME-955 card into empty 6U single-height VME slot,tighten front panel fixing screw.

Install selected PC/AT daughter module onto XVME-955 carrier board.

Set base address via board jumpers.

Connect peripheral wiring on front panel.

Power on chassis,run hardware self-test together with paired XVME CPU board.
