Products Description
VMIC VMIVME-4100 Analog Output Board

Module Feature
VMIVME-4100 is a single-slot 6U VMEbus digital-to-analog converter board developed by VMIC,channel quantity can be factory configured as 4 / 8 / 12 / 16 channels with 12-bit monotonic DAC resolution. Output range has two main variants: VMIVME-4100-040 for ±10 V and VMIVME-4100-140 for 0~10 V,max output current 5 mA per channel, settling time ≤8 µs to 1 LSB. It adopts double-buffered register design to realize simultaneous update of all analog channels, ensuring synchronous output for multi-axis motion simulation. VME bus interface supports A16/A24 addressing and D08/D16/D32 data transfer, runs as VME slave module. Analog signals can be routed to P2 rear test bus for loopback verification. Each channel integrates short-circuit and overvoltage protection. Rugged Eurocard PCB with conformal coating, shock and vibration screened for power plant cabinet environment, widely used in gas/steam turbine analog setpoint control, servo drive reference output,hardware-in-loop real-time simulation and accelerator test VME chassis.
Working principle
VME host writes digital setpoint codes to double-buffered registers. Once trigger strobe arrives, all DAC channels convert digital codes to analog voltage synchronously. Precision reference circuit guarantees gain and offset accuracy;P2 test bus feeds analog signal back for calibration and verification. VME FPGA completes address decoding and bidirectional data handshake between VME bus and DAC register bank. Output protection circuit limits current under short-circuit field wiring.
