Feature & Principle

It is a power braking resistor matched with old Siemens frequency converters. When the motor runs in generating state during fast deceleration, the regenerative electric energy charges the DC bus and raises bus voltage. The resistor converts excess energy into heat to prevent overvoltage fault and enable rapid braking. It is designed for cabinet installation with overload capacity for intermittent braking duty.
