Module Feature

SIEB & MEYER 26.36.15 is a rack-mounted regenerative DC bus power supply module. It converts 3-phase AC input into stable DC bus voltage for multiple SIEB & MEYER servo power modules in the same rack. It supports energy regeneration, feeds back motor braking energy back to the grid. Built-in overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and overtemperature protection. Integrated status monitoring and fault signal output. Compact plug-in rack design, good EMC anti-interference performance. Widely applied in CNC machine tools, semiconductor processing equipment and high-precision multi-axis automation lines.

Working principle

The module rectifies three-phase AC input to generate DC bus for the whole rack servo axes. During motor deceleration, the regenerative energy from motors is processed and returned to AC mains. It continuously samples bus voltage, current and internal temperature. When abnormal operating conditions are detected, the module shuts down output and triggers fault alarm to protect the whole multi-axis drive system.

Onboard components

Input rectifier unit, IGBT regenerative circuit, DC bus capacitor bank, current and voltage sampling sensors, temperature detector, fault logic circuit, power terminal block, backplane interface connector.

LED indicators

Built-in LED indicators for input power, DC bus ready, regenerative active and fault code display.

Hardware self-diagnosis

Visual inspection of housing, terminals and backplane pins; three-phase AC input voltage test; DC bus voltage measurement; check LED fault codes; inspect heat sink and cooling fan for dust accumulation.

Function

26.36.15 power supply module manufactured by SIEB & MEYER. It supplies stable DC bus voltage to all servo power modules in the rack and recycles braking energy. Faults like overvoltage, overcurrent and overheat will trigger alarm and cut off DC bus output. It is the central power source for SIEB & MEYER multi-axis servo rack system.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off all power supply completely. Insert module into designated rack slot and lock securely. Wire 3-phase AC input and ground terminal correctly. Connect backplane bus to communicate with other modules. Configure power parameters via SIEB & MEYER commissioning software, test bus stability before system trial run.

Diagnostic

No power LED: Missing 3-phase AC input or internal fuse blown. Bus not ready: Pre-charge failure, input phase loss or internal hardware damage. Overvoltage alarm: Excessive regenerative energy or braking circuit fault. Overheat alarm: Fan failure, blocked heat sink or continuous heavy load. Phase loss alarm: Broken input wire or loose main power terminal.
