System compatibilityBW100-002 is SEW BW series wire-wound braking resistor. Compatible with MOVIDRIVE MD60B, MDX61B servo drives and MOVITRAC B low-power inverters. Widely used for miniature conveyor and small packaging machinery, legacy SEW drive system maintenance and spare replacement.

FunctionThis wire-wound braking resistor consumes regenerative energy generated by motor deceleration. When DC bus voltage rises, the drive internal brake chopper activates and releases excess energy through this resistor to suppress overvoltage fault. Built-in thermal contact for overtemperature alarm. Terminal block for DC bus wiring.

InstallationPower off the drive DC bus before installation. Mount BW100-002 vertically inside control cabinet, keep enough air circulation. Separate high voltage braking cables and low voltage control wiring. Connect resistor terminals to drive brake port. Wire thermal contact signal to drive fault input. Test braking function after wiring.
