Working principle

Low‑voltage TDR sends pulse signal into cable, calculates fault distance by reflected waveform. High‑voltage DC burn‑up stabilizes intermittent flash‑over faults. Surge impulse creates arc at fault point; combined with arc‑reflection / ICE algorithm to compute accurate fault distance. Cooperate with external acoustic receiver to complete on‑site pinpoint fault position.
