T8432 belongs to ICS TRIPLEX Trusted SIS safety instrumented system and installs inside T8300 or T8314 expander rack. It acquires analog signals from field pressure,temperature and flow transmitters,converts analog signals to digital data and transmits triplicated validated data to expander processor. Widely deployed in oil & gas,petrochemical and chemical plants for ESD emergency shutdown and fire & gas safety protection.

Function

T8432 serves as high integrity 8-channel analog input unit of Trusted TMR SIS. It samples 4-20mA or 0-10V analog signals and adopts TMR 2oo3 hardware voting logic to obtain accurate process values. Each channel continuously monitors loop status,open circuit and short circuit faults. It supports hot swap replacement without powering down the expansion rack.

Installation

Insert T8432 vertically into dedicated I/O slot of T8300/T8314 expander chassis. Connect field transmitter wiring to terminal assembly. Check channel readings and fault alarms via Trusted Workbench engineering software.
