Function

IC693DNM200-BD is dedicated DeviceNet master scanner module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It scans all slave nodes on DeviceNet fieldbus, exchanges real-time I/O data between slave devices and Series90-30 PLC CPU. RS232 service port is used for network configuration, node diagnosis and firmware update. Built-in isolation circuit protects PLC rack from field bus surge interference. LED indicators show module running, network online and fault state.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Fully cut off rack power and DeviceNet bus power. Insert IC693DNM200-BD module into vacant main rack slot and lock retention latch. Connect 5pin DeviceNet bus cable and RS232 configuration cable. Set baud rate and slave node list via DN-Config software. Power on and verify network scanning and I/O data exchange.
