Function

R667X000502 is complete sealing overhaul kit manufactured by Fisher. All gaskets and O-rings in this kit seal the actuator pressure chamber to stop air leakage. Seal degradation will cause thrust loss, stroke drift and continuous air venting. This kit is used during actuator overhaul when disassembling actuator casing.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off instrument air and release residual air pressure. Disassemble actuator upper and lower housing, replace all old gaskets and O-rings with parts in R667X000502 kit. Cross torque casing bolts evenly. Reassemble actuator and perform air tightness test, bench range calibration and full stroke test.
