Function

66R-9 is compact air pressure regulator manufactured by Fisher. It stabilizes fluctuating upstream instrument air pressure to fixed output pressure for valve positioner. It guarantees steady air supply to positioner and improves valve control stability. It is standard pneumatic preparation accessory for control valve loop.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Isolate instrument air supply. Mount regulator on pipeline or actuator bracket. Connect upstream air tubing. Rotate adjustment knob to set target pressure. Verify pressure stability and air tightness.

1/4"NPT inlet/outlet air ports,pressure gauge tapping port,mounting lugs,no LED indicators on 66R-9.

Diagnostic

Output pressure drifting: Spring fatigue or diaphragm damage. No air output: Internal seat blocked. Continuous air leakage: Seal aging or loose thread fitting.
