Products Description
Eaton HFD3020L Molded Case Circuit Breaker Unit

Module Feature
HFD3020L belongs to Eaton Series C HFD molded case circuit breaker. 3-pole,20A rated current,600VAC /250VDC. It adopts thermal-magnetic trip mechanism; thermal section protects overload, magnetic section provides instantaneous short-circuit protection. High interrupt capacity 100kAIC@240V,65kAIC@480V. Widely used in MCC cabinets, power distribution panels, fan and pump industrial power circuit protection.
Working principle
Thermal bimetallic element heats and bends under continuous overload current to trigger trip. Magnetic coil instantly trips when short-circuit large current occurs. Manual handle for close/trip/reset operation. Auxiliary contacts can be fitted optionally to feedback breaker status to PLC system.
Onboard components
Molded insulating housing,bimetal thermal element,magnetic trip coil,main contact assembly,arc quenching chamber,manual operating handle,line & load terminal blocks.
LED indicators
No built-in LED indicators; status feedback from optional auxiliary contact.
Hardware self-diagnosis
Contact surface inspection, insulation resistance test, trip function test, arc chamber contamination inspection.
Programming software
No dedicated programming software, manual operation and hardwired status feedback.
