Module Feature

46014-0645 is AMK AMKASYN series regenerative servo power supply module, it works with AMK series servo inverters to constitute a shared DC bus drive system. Three-phase 400V AC input, rectifies AC into stable DC bus voltage for servo power modules. It supports energy regeneration, the kinetic energy generated by motor deceleration can be fed back to the power grid to save energy, different from ordinary rectifier with only brake resistor. Internal safety enable relay and hardware overvoltage, overcurrent protection are integrated. Multiple modules can be paralleled for higher power demand. It adopts forced air cooling, supports bus communication with AMK controller. Widely used for high-speed printing machines, CNC machine tools, packaging equipment and multi-axis robotic motion platforms.

Working principle

Three-phase industrial AC enters the rectifier unit. IGBT rectifier circuit converts AC to DC bus voltage for all connected servo inverters. When the servo motor decelerates, regenerative energy flows back into this power module; the regeneration circuit converts DC energy back into grid AC. The internal safety circuit monitors bus voltage, current and temperature, cuts off enable signal and locks output when fault occurs. It exchanges status and safety signals with the AMK motion controller.

Hardware self‑diagnosisPower-on self-check detects input phase loss, bus overvoltage/undervoltage, output overcurrent, module overtemperature, fan stall, safety circuit anomaly and communication timeout. Fault records are stored inside the module.

Programming softwareAMK AMK Commander software for parameter setup, bus configuration, regeneration function enable and firmware upgrade.

InstallationInstall in ventilated electrical cabinet, reserve cooling clearance. Connect three-phase AC input, DC bus cable to servo inverters and safety control wiring. Configure bus address and regeneration parameters in AMK Commander. Test emergency stop and safety interlock function before commissioning. Keep cooling fan and air filter clean regularly.
