It is Allen‑Bradley 1756-M24 memory expansion module for ControlLogix Logix5555 CPU. It provides 3.5MB non-volatile storage space for user programs, tags and configuration data. It is inserted into the dedicated memory slot of the controller to expand storage capacity. Data can be kept without battery power loss. This model has been discontinued, mainly used for maintenance and retrofit of old ControlLogix automation racks.
