Feature & Principle

It is Siemens PS955 rack power supply for SIMATIC S5 PLC system. It converts AC mains voltage into stable 5V DC power to supply the backplane for CPU and I/O modules. It adopts forced air cooling with fan monitoring function, built-in overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection. It supports jumper selection of 115V or 230V AC input. This series has been discontinued, widely used for maintenance of legacy S5 control cabinets.
