SIEB & MEYER part number 021807102X belongs to FC80 series rack plug-in high-frequency spindle frequency converter. It is designed to drive high-speed synchronous spindle motors with encoder feedback. It supports high output frequency for ultra-high spindle rotation speed, featuring fast dynamic response, stable speed regulation and low torque ripple. Equipped with multi-level current, voltage and temperature monitoring protection circuit. Compact rack plug-in structure with reliable EMC performance. Widely used in PCB routing, CNC milling and semiconductor drilling equipment. This model is discontinued legacy drive.

Working principle

Single-phase AC input passes EMI filter and rectifier circuit and converts into DC bus. IGBT power stack converts DC bus into adjustable amplitude high-frequency three-phase AC to drive spindle motor. It continuously collects encoder speed and position feedback signal to realize closed-loop speed and spindle orientation control. Once abnormal condition detected, the drive cuts off power output immediately and sends fault signal to rack control system for safety interlock.

Installation

Diagnostic
