It is designed for Reliance MaxPak Plus series spindle DC drive rack,cooperates with ARM armature regulator board and current feedback board. It controls excitation current for motor field winding to realize field weakening speed adjustment for DC spindle motor. Commonly used for maintenance and spare replacement of old industrial spindle DC drive equipment.

Function0-52824 is dedicated field excitation PCB for RELIANCE MaxPak Plus DC drive system. It receives field current setpoint signal from main regulator,realizes field current closed-loop regulation and field weakening control. Samples field winding actual current,compares with reference value and outputs PWM control signal to excitation power circuit. Front panel multi-turn potentiometers for field current limit and field weakening threshold calibration. Dual LED indicators display board power and field excitation active status. Built-in overcurrent and overvoltage protection circuit to protect motor field winding and power components.

InstallationPower off the whole drive cabinet and cut main power supply. Insert 0-52824 field excitation board into drive rack slot and lock retaining screw. Connect gold finger backplane connector for setpoint and feedback signal transmission. Separate excitation power wiring and low-level control signal wiring. Power on system,calibrate field current limit and field weakening parameters via potentiometers. Verify excitation current changes smoothly during motor speed adjustment.
