MVME5100 is a single-width 6U VME single board computer based on PowerPC 7410 RISC processor with AltiVec unit.It supports embedded real-time operating system such as VxWorks and RTEMS,performs control logic operation and field data acquisition.It communicates with peripheral modules via VME bus,serial ports,Ethernet and SCSI.It has onboard watchdog timer and real-time clock for reliable long-running embedded control.This variant adopts 450MHz PowerPC 7410 CPU,equipped with 512MB ECC SDRAM,dual PMC slots,Universe II VME-PCI bridge.

Installation

Insert MVME5100 into standard 6U VME chassis slot,lock the front panel.Fix the board,connect serial cable,Ethernet cable,SCSI cable and VME backplane.Take ESD protection before power-on.
