IW93‑2 is a Profibus‑DP communication interface module for ABB Advant OCS control system. It acts as the communication gateway between main controller and S800 remote I/O racks, completing real‑time transmission of process input and output data.It supports full Profibus‑DP protocol, with baud rate up to 12 Mbps to guarantee field‑bus real‑time performance. Front‑panel LED lamps show bus activity and fault conditions for convenient on‑site troubleshooting. Standard 6U plug‑in Eurocard design allows quick module replacement during equipment maintenance. It features galvanic isolation for field bus interface to suppress industrial electromagnetic interference.
